Look at them Nocti. Can you not see it in their eyes? Once before they used to mock us, they used to smear our name in the mud. They called us fools...heretics...even fanatics. They even went so far as to challenge our loyalty to each other. Yet we continued to look after our own. We were there to support our fellow Nocti; our family. And in our darkest hour, we only grew in strength. Rest assured Nocti, your patience has finally paid off. All the trials you have endured, the blood you have shed, the pain you have suffered has only tested your mettle. And they have taken notice.

  Look at them now Nocti. Can you now see the dread in their eyes? No longer will they mock us. No longer will they insult our very name. Why you ask? Is it out of resepct...loyalty...salvation? No, it is out of fear! But it is to little, to late. They called us fools; be assured we are not. They called us heretics; when have we sread heresy. They wanted to see what fanatics are, let us show them what our so called "fanaticism" is. Ris up Nocti! Let us together show them our strength. It is time to expunge these lands of the truly foolish; these hertics.

  Our cause is right and our path is true. The Great Sundering we have waited for is at hand and all our plans shall come to fruition. Recruit the strong Brothers! Destroy the weak! Their blood will flow! The future is ours! DEATH TO ALL WHO OPPOSE US!

The first game world group to bear the name "Sidus Noctis" was formed in Lineage2 by Arclone and Shadowcat. They adopted a set of rules known as the Sapphire Tablets and developed a hierarchy with Arclone as the clan's "Lord" and Jgirl as it's "Lady".

In August of 2005 Nocti Prince Moriagane of Lineage2 moved into the world of Matrix Online as "OpenSorce". Within a few months OpenSorce, Vegetto, Kaipo43, ShadowRogue, Arlandria, Noxander and several others initiated an Organization like none before. As a tribute to the old Lineage2 clan, OpenSorce dubbed this new organization "Sidus Noctis".

Although the two separate groups bore the same name, they varied in many ways. This new Organization had no "Lord" or "Lady". The were lead by OpenSorce and inspired by thier Queen Arlandria.

As the Organization grew this new incarnation of "the Nocti" became something altogether different than any group to ever use the name. Rather than adopting the many rules of the Lineage 2 clan, the new Nocti embraced two rules and two rules only: Recruit the Strong, Destroy the Weak. At one point we were the single largest faction in all of Matrix Online. All servers combined.

As of this writing, the Nocti (as envisioned by OpenSorce) occupy at least 6 simultaneous game worlds: World of Warcraft, Matrix Online, City of Villians, City of Heroes, EVE Online and Star Trek Online. With it's many loyal members the Nocti continue to grow and flourish.
